Fujitsu Platform Solution Center (Tokyo, Japan) was setup in October 2004, as a multifunctional facility offering a full range of services from consulting and testing to training and verification of systems and solutions using Fujitsu servers. Fujitsu understands that the requirement in today's IT industry is interoperability across a range of platforms and products. That is why Fujitsu has established the center with a range of 3rd party and in-house server and storage equipment including Fujitsu's SPARC ENTERPRISE Server Platforms and ETERNUS Storage Systems. This enables preparation of ISV/IHV product, product proposals and customer system verification configurations in conjunction with "best of breed" ISV/IHV products. The center acts as a forum and collaboration location for partners and customers. Here they can use world-class technologies and infrastructure for certification and benchmark testing. Partners can ensure that each customer receives the optimum solution available.

The Fujitsu Platform Solution Center is also enabling Fujitsu and Oracle to work together to promote Oracle 10g/11g Real Application Clusters (RAC) as part of PRIMECLUSTER solutions. The result being fully tested mission critical solutions that enable enterprises to not only reduce their TCO, but also speed-up service installation, reduce systems complexity, and manage risk.
